Three Mavericks Invited to USA Baseball National Tryouts

A second trio of Seacoast baseball players have been invited to take part in tryouts for the USA Baseball National Team in Cary, N.C., later this month.

Nate Curtis, a 14 year old from Eliot, Maine joins 11-year-olds Tristan Winder of Newcastle and James Wise of Nottingham in competing against the best youth players from across the country for roster spots on the USA Baseball Under-14 and Under-11 National Team from August 28-31 at the National Training Complex.

All three players hail from the USA Mavericks Baseball club program operating out of USA Training Centers in Newington. Earlier this week it was announced that Maverick players Kyle Ball, Jake Randolph and Brennen Oxford had also been selected to compete for spots on the Under-16 team.

Curtis is entering his freshman year at Marshwood High School this fall, while Winder and Wise will be 6th graders at Rye Middle School and Oyster River Middle School respectively.
