USA Maverick Baseball is an elite baseball program based in Newington, NH. Maverick Baseball has teams playing against the best of New England and East Coast programs in the 10U through 18U age groups.

The USA Mavericks Baseball Club program is owned and operated by Dave Hoyt, former member of the St. Louis Cardinals and Minnesota Twins. Our coaching staff consists of numerous former professional and collegiate baseball players who now dedicate themselves to the development of young athletes.

The USA Mavericks Club is a member of the New England Elite Baseball League. We host public tryouts each August for placement on our 10U through 17U teams. Each age group team participates in a comprehensive schedule of games and tournament play during the spring/summer season. USA Mavericks players are considered exemplary athletes with unique talent on the field.

Many USA Mavericks players go on to compete at the college level, most with academic and/or athletic scholarships. Over the last seven years, Dave Hoyt’s extensive networking experience has a had a direct result in Maverick high school players being awarded over $9 million in academic and athletic scholarship money at colleges and universities around the country.

The USA Mavericks Baseball Club program was founded in 2004 with one 13U team. Coached by Dave Hoyt, this team participated in the AAU National Championship Tournament in 2005 and 2006 and earned a ranking of #11 in the nation. The Mavericks organization has grown to support over 200 top athletes in it’s nine age group levels. By maintaining the highest standards for instruction and talent, USA Mavericks is recognized as the premier youth baseball program in New Hampshire and Southern Maine.

We believe that by providing exemplary instruction, a balanced training program and the opportunity to compete at the highest level, we can develop a player’s talent and abilities along a continuum of learning. Along with teaching fundamentals of individual and team play, we emphasize the importance of character, sportsmanship and respect. Maverick players are expected to be good students with the goal of academic success as well as success on the playing field. A strong work ethic both on and off the field is required.

USA Mavericks Baseball provides an off-season instructional program that includes a weekly two hour practice at our indoor facility as well as individual position clinics, additional strength and conditioning training one to two evenings per week. In the spring, each team participates in competitive play against other teams within the New England Elite Baseball League. The number of games and tournaments is dependent upon age level and most involve travel throughout New England and the East Coast. USA Mavericks players and their families are expected to make a commitment to the program and understand that participation in scheduled games and tournaments is mandatory. Our 10U, 11U and 12U program is specifically designed not to compete with local Little League and Cal Ripken spring schedules.

Our 10U, 11U and 12U teams play Cal Ripken rules on 60 foot(10U) and 70 foot(11U, 12U)  baseball diamonds, Our 13U through 18U teams play on full 90 foot diamonds. Our 10U through 15U teams participate in the New England Elite Baseball League while our 16U and 17U teams participate in Showcase Tournaments throughout New England & the East Coast.
